I’ve been fortunate to have worked for many years in the public and private sectors, where I’ve had the opportunity to work on many interesting, fun, and challenging projects in water, wastewater, and recycled water. During this time I've also had the pleasure of working alongside many great people that have made my career in the industry a truly wonderful experience.
Bio
Hector Ruiz has an extensive background and experience in the water, wastewater, and recycled water fields, having worked both in the public and private sectors for the past 30 years. As a former Business Group Leader and Senior Manager at an international consulting firm and as a former General Manager and District Engineer for a public agency, Hector has managed a public water utility and its facilities, and implemented cutting edge projects, including the design, start-up and testing of new technology and facilities. As an author of several published articles in water and wastewater, Hector has also presented at professional conferences and has been an invited speaker at leading professional organizations.
